Shark encounters in Tahiti (3 min 30 sec): The Tuamotus in Tahiti is no doubt the shark capital! A normal dive will see 20-30 sharks easily. At the best sites with the right current, you can see school of sharks in the hundreds that looks like barracuders at distance. Unfortunately, the only live aboard operator there, Agressor, has decided to discountinue the operation due to our various reasons. Our trip in last year (2006) is their second last trip. It will probably be a while before we can revisit Tuamotus again.
