Besides adhere to the saying: 'practice could make perfect', I would try to look at more photographs (this will provide the other cameraman's angle of approach and composition) from magazines, books and slideshows; read more books on the species (this will provide individual animal's living habitat and behavior); and ask questions. There are people who would love to share ideas on photography with others.
