Samuel Hung, the Director of Hong Kong Cetacean Research Project, has been studying the population of Chinese white dolphins and finless porpoises since 1998. He has been involved in several research projects in China and Taiwan. He is currently a Ph.D. student in the University of Hong Kong undertaking a project to study habitat use of Chinese white dolphins. He is also the Editor-in-chief of Hong Kong Discovery magazine and contributed a number of articles and photographs.
