Wide Angle View of Komodo

Seeing the strange but rather cute looking Mola Mola was really worth it even though we had to struggle with the cold water and complicated (also dangerous) current systems around the Bali area. I certainly love to see this weird animal again if possible. Cruising out to Komodo Island was a 40-hour rock and roll journey where we finally managed to see the famous Komodo dragon. Diving around the Komodo Island was again mostly advanced diving with strong currents, up-swellings, down currents and cold water intertwined with thermoclines. However, we were rewarded with friendly mantas, giant cods, very beautiful corals and interesting critters.
