I was adverse to the idea of underwater photography for a long time since I felt it would distract me from truly enjoying the underwater surrounding. But with this first attempt at "macros" photography in Lembah Straits and seeing the images coming alive again through the pictures, I realize I just maybe converted yet! SaiWong, kudos to you for being brave enough to lend me your lens and your frames. The underwater world is truly amazing and I hope anyone that can swim will consider taking up this wonderful past time. It will make you realize what a wondrous world we live in! I have been thrown in the "deep end" ever since I was a little kid. My father was my first swimming instructor until he had it with me and sent me to join a swim team. Water became part of my everyday life. When I first learned to dive in 1994, my very first realization was "I am home!" Since then I have gotten my PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor license and have recently taken up underwater photography.
