S. Australia Part II - Adelaide dive areas

Photoed by Ken Yeung

There are various dive sites around the Adelaide areas in South Australia. Most of the dive sites are full of surprises with marine diversity. Eidthburg Jetty is one of which it is a macro heaven with all sorts of little critters like Seahorse, Decorator Crab, Cockatoo Waspfish, and more. About four hours drive from Adelaide is the unique formation of Mt. Gambier which consists of fresh water sinkhole. Visibility of the fresh water ponds there are in over 100 ft. Most of all, like a natural aquarium is the Rapid Bay Jetty that is about an hour's drive from Adelaide. As you drop into this paradise of unexpected jetty, the legendary Leafy Sea Dragon are more than happy to greet you!
