Picking up as many certificates as I could, I landed myself in a spot where nothing more could be done due to my age. Advanced Open Water, Rescue, Specialty after Specialties... I needed something new! That's when my father suggested I combine my love for topside photography with my love for the ocean... and I got my first digital "snappy-happy" and underwater housing and clicked away happily! On my second time to Layang Layang, Malaysia, I was preparing for a dive... when I saw an awesome camera rig on the table... I couldn't resist myself, so I went up to it and took a *very* close look at it... the owner of the camera saw my interest and we proceeded to talk a lot over the next few days and got to know each other very well... this person I speak of is, of course, Fritz Wong! It was through Fritz that I met everyone. Saiwong, Takako, Ken, Karl, Joe... the list just goes on! It was also how I came across this very website you're reading, HKDivePhoto.com! Picking up diving at the age of 12 (only 2 years ago!), I was uncertain at start what it was all about. Although I've heard a lot from my father and brother, both keen divers, I still wasn't sure what all the hype was all about - until I tried it out for myself! I signed up for my Open Water course as soon as PADI would let me, took my first breath underwater... and totally fell in love with the ocean and scuba diving!
