This trip was my first true attempt at
underwater photography. I started out simple, with an Olympus 4040 housed
in a PT-010 housing and relied on the internal flash for lighting. For a
beginner, digital is definitely the way to go. Immediately
after taking a shot, I could evaluate the results, and adjust my aperture,
shutter speed, and flash EV to compensate for mistakes.
